Crews put out a non-injury fire in a one-story backhouse Monday in the Exposition Park area.
The fire was reported at 7:07 a.m. at 1742 W. 36th St. and took all of nine minutes to put out, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the blaze, which was contained to a single room, was not immediately apparent.
