A man was killed Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash into a pole along a winding road in Sherman Oaks.
The crash was reported at about 1 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Valley Meadow Road, just west of the San Diego (405) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
An officer said the vehicle struck a curb, then a light pole.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
The LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division was handling the investigation.
