A person was extricated from a vehicle following a traffic crash Saturday on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Sherman Oaks, authorities said.
The victim’s condition was not immediately clear.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 9:56 a.m. Saturday to the northbound freeway at Mulholland Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“First arriving companies on scene reported a vehicle over the side of the freeway on the other side of the guardrail,” the LAFD’s Jaime Stewart said. “One person was trapped and extricated from the vehicle and is being transported to the hospital by paramedics.”
