Remains have been found of a 63-year-old Long Beach woman who went missing while dirt biking in San Bernardino County, officials announced Friday.
Julie Goforth was reported missing last Friday in a remote area at the El Mirage OHV Recreation Area in Adelanto, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Goforth’s body was found at about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
“The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is saddened to confirm that Julie Goforth has been located deceased …” according to a sheriff’s department statement.
The circumstances surrounding Goforth’s death were under investigation and anyone with information about the case was urged to call 760-552-6800 to speak with sheriff’s detective Harris.
