A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Tuesday roughly 31 miles south-southeast of Coachella.
The earthquake was recorded shortly after 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, 25 miles north of the community of Oasis, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake had a depth of 4.3 kilometers.
No damage was reported.
