One person died in a motorcycle collision on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena, authorities announced Saturday.
A motorcyclist went to exit the westbound freeway, tried to switch back to the main road and then fell off the motorcycle around 11:31 p.m. Friday near the Fair Oaks Avenue offramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital and later died from their injuries, the CHP said.
Both eastbound and westbound lanes were closed following the collision and reopened around 1:29 a.m., the CHP announced.
