Firefighters extinguished a non-injury blaze Sunday to bungalow at Napa Street Elementary School in Northridge, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire inside the one-story detached bungalow at 19010 Napa St. was reported about 4:20 p.m., according to fire department spokesman Erik Scott.

The flames were confined to the south classroom in that building, while the north classroom suffered smoke damage, Scott said.

The department dispatched 30 firefighters to the scene and knocked down the fire in about 24 minutes, Scott continued.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remained under investigation, he said.
