Special food items featuring ahi tuna and pork belly will be available at Dodger Stadium for the two-game interleague series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland Athletics that begins Tuesday evening.
The Oaktown Poke Nachos consist of ahi tuna on top of cream cheese wontons, drizzled with eel sauce, spicy mayo, green onion, black sesame seeds and bonito flakes.
Belli Bomb Bao are steamed lotus buns with smoked char siu pork belly, broccoli slaw with sesame dressing and Thai peanut sauce.
The specials will be available at the On Deck Circle stand on Field Level section 48, Loge Level section 133 and Reserve Level section 4.
Retired U.S. Army Spc. Aaron Wilson will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game.
Wilson joined the Army in 2011 serving in the 4th Brigade 25th Infantry Division Airborne in Anchorage, Alaska. He was deployed to Afghanistan, was injured by a roadside bomb and was awarded the Purple Heart.
Wilson’s other honors include the Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Wilson is now a full-time student and a wildland firefighter during fire season, training to become a full-time firefighter.
