A person is recovering after being rescued from a location off the coast of Catalina Island following a boat collision, authorities said Sunday.
The L.A. County Fire Department received a call about the incident at 9:54 p.m. Saturday, a department supervisor said.
Marine search and rescue crews located the person, who was transported to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
No information was available on the person’s condition, or what led to the need for the rescue.
