A fire heavily damaged a mobile home and extended to several vehicles Monday in the unincorporated community of Desert Edge.
The blaze was reported shortly before 10:30 a.m. Monday in the 18000 block of Langlois Road, south of Desert Hot Springs, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Co. and other agencies were asked to assist at the scene.
There was no immediate word on injuries.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
