One person suffered minor injuries Thursday in a fire at an apartment building in East Hollywood.
The fire was reported at 10:38 a.m. in a two-story building at 919 N. Ardmore Ave., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Crews were alerted that a person was reported to be trapped as they arrived at the building to find light smoke coming from the structure, LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said.
Crews made entry, put out a small fire and ended up assessing and treating one person at the scene for minor injuries.
