Firefighters knocked down an interior fire at a one-story metal-clad commercial building in Lincoln Heights in 17 minutes Friday evening with no injuries reported.
The fire broke out around 9:44 p.m. Friday at 647 S. Gibbons St., south of Main Street and adjacent to the Los Angeles River, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
There was light smoke coming from the building. The fire involved pallets, Lyndsey Lantz of the LAFD said.
