Tickets to a Bernie Sanders fundraiser Wednesday at the Avalon nightclub in Los Angeles reportedly cost $25, but the Democratic presidential candidate didn’t stop there on his West Coast swing.

Variety reported that Wednesday evening, Sanders showed at the Beverly Hills home of Syd and Linda Leibovitch, “with tickets starting at $250. About 300 people attended, raising about $150,000, according to a pool report.”
“Senator Sanders was the only candidate on that [debate] stage who gave the correct answer: climate change,” MacFarlane said. “Of all our biggest challenges, social inequality, health care, this one is the one that must go immediately to the front of the line. This is the only one with a non-negotiable timetable.
“While it would be way funnier if Trump won, it would be far better for the health of the country if Bernie Sanders was the next president.”
Sanders also taped a segment with Ellen DeGeneres, which aired Thursday.
