Leslie “Les” Moonves is being booed for stating the obvious about Donald Trump’s campaign: “It may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS.”
Speaking Monday at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference in San Francisco, Moonves also said: “Donald’s place in this election is a good thing” and “There’s a lot of money in the marketplace” for political advertising.
Showing pride in his lineup, he said: “You cannot live without CBS,” noting NFL coverage, Stephen Colbert and “60 Minutes.”
His comments didn’t go over well with some:
