Carly Fiorina, who flamed out in 2010 as a California Senate candidate and again this year in the GOP presidential race, is hot again — as Ted Cruz’s pick for running mate.
The former CEO of Hewlett-Packard highlighted her Wednesday introduction with a song she sang to the Texas senator’s young daughters.
“Carly recalled a lullaby she sings to Ted Cruz’s children from the lectern,” noted RealClearPolitics.com. “Before he introduced his VP choice, Cruz told the crowd Fiorina often sings lullabies to his two young daughters when she is on the campaign trail with the candidate. Cruz said Fiorina enjoys texting ‘heart and smiley-faced emoticons’ to his daughters.
Fiorina sang: “I know two girls who I just adore. I am so happy I can see them more. Because we travel on the bus on the day, we get to play, we get to play.”
Freelance music critics and others sang less than her praises:
