Saturday is the first full day that mega-star Johnny Depp is legally required to stay away from his estranged “petrified” wife after she accused him of domestic violence and obtained a restraining order in a Los Angeles courtroom.

Actress Amber Heard filed for the restraining order days after she filed for divorce from Depp, citing irreconcilable differences.

A spokesperson for Depp said the 52-year-old actor won’t have any comment on the “salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies” in the media.

Actress Amber Heard, 30, obtained the temporary restraining order against Depp Friday. The actor was ordered to stay at least 100 yards from her home, car and workplace.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carl Moor ruled after reviewing 40 pages of paperwork and photos behind closed doors. The documents submitted by Heard’s lawyer, Samantha Spector, included photos of the actress with a bruise on her face that she claims was inflicted during a fight on Saturday.

Asked whether police had responded to a fight between Heard and Depp on Saturday, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison — without identifying any of the parties involved — said officers responded to a report of a “domestic incident,” however, “the officers determined that a crime did not occur.”

Another of Heard’s attorneys, Joseph Koenig, said in a courthouse hallway that his client was dealing as well as possible with her recent ordeal.

“She’s having a hard time, it’s been a long few days,” Koenig said.

Heard stayed behind closed doors in an attorney-conference room around the corner from the courtroom while she awaited Moor’s ruling.

Depp’s attorney, Laura Wasser, declined to comment other than to say the petition was granted in part and denied in part.

Heard ignored media questions as she was escorted by a bodyguard and others from the courthouse. But in a sworn declaration attached to her documents, she said she is worried Depp may harm her.

“During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me,” she said.

Depp has a “totally acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse,” Heard said, adding she is “petrified” he may return to her home.

She also called Depp “paranoid” and said his temper is “exceptionally scary to me.”

The stay-away order is good until June 17, when Moor is scheduled to decide whether to extend it.

Depp and Heard met on the set of “The Rum Diary” and were married in February 2015. It’s Depp’s second marriage.

There was no immediate response from Depp, 52, who is busily promoting his latest film, “Alice Through the Looking Glass,” which opened on the same day that the restraining order was obtained.

Responding to the divorce filing, a representative for Depp told E! News: “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life. Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”
