Late-night comedians including Jimmy Fallon on NBC, Trevor Noah on Comedy Central and Samantha Bee on Turner Broadcasting System addressed the Orlando shootings with serious wit and depth.

Conan O’Brien on TBS noted: “These mass shootings are happening so often now that lamenting them afterwards is becoming a national ritual.”

O’Brien said he agreed with national sentiment that it’s “time to grow up and figure this out.”

Colbert made a stab at understanding Donald Trump’s remarks, using what he called the “Figure-It-Out-A-Tron.”

“Donald Trump refuses to be politically correct. And just to be safe, he refuses to be correct,” said the “The Late Show” host.

He then drew lines on a blackboard that ended up in a Nazi swastika.

Meyers said: “I have a feeling Donald Trump’s not giving blood [as those in Florida did], and if he did no on would want it because it probably looks like ectoplasm.”

Here’s how the comedic colleagues dealt with the tragedy.
