In 1990, when Donald Trump was on the cover of Playboy magazine, nobody would ever expect it would one day show up in a photo with Jerry Falwell Jr. and a presidential candidate.

But the “photo-bombing” Tuesday in a tweet from the televangelist’s son led to some arched eyebrows and online heckles.
New York Magazine said: “It’s obviously a dear, dear moment in time for Trump. So we’re pretty sure the presidential candidate doesn’t mind that his beloved Playboy cover photobombed this particular moment.”
The Hill added details: “There’s a lot going on here, but let’s start with the fact that the man alongside Trump giving a thumbs-up is Jerry Falwell Jr., the son of the late Jerry Falwell, the famous televangelist who established the conservative Liberty University.”
The New York Post quoted conservative reaction:
“Literally a framed pic on the wall of the candidate and a porn star, as a major evangelical leader endorses him,” wrote Nathan Lino.
Another person joked, “I could literally hang a porno on the wall, and I wouldn’t lose any evangelical endorsements.”
Honored to introduce @realDonaldTrump at religious leader summit in NYC today! He did incredible job! @beckifalwell pic.twitter.com/e2eBSbQwb0
