From movies to POTUS? Is the ‘The Rock’ actually interested in politics? The answer is yes.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, 44, revealed his political aspirations on Good Morning America Thursday.

The actor is currently kicking of the second season of his HBO show “Ballers,” in which he plays a former NFL lineman who is now a financial adviser to NFL players.

He told Michael Strahan “Americans may one day be seeing “what ‘The Rock’ is cooking” in the White House.

Johnson, who made that phrase famous in his former pro wrestling days, was hit by presidential buzz in March when he shared an article on Twitter that claimed people were “loudly clamoring” for him to run on the GOP ticket, according to the morning show.

Johnson told Strahan the idea of his future in politics is “very real.”

“This interesting ground swell that has happened on the idea of my being president one day has become a legit thing to some people,” Johnson said on the show.

Johnson added, “with 100 percent certainty,” he would listen to the “temperature of the American” people.

Would you vote for him or rather see him on the big and small screen?
