Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Chelsea — the source of runaway drama last year — was reportedly rushed to a Long Island hospital Monday night, with some sites saying Chelsea had suffered a drug overdose.
Eonline reported Tuesday that Chelsea, 19, was undergoing psychiatric evaluation.
“While there’s no word on when Chelsea is going to be released, we’re told that she is ‘alert and awake and ‘is safe,'” said the site.
The adoptive daughter “has been admitted to the stat-wide program which aims to offer psychiatric evaluations on an emergency basis, as well as any subsequent treatment services such as interventions or medical professional referrals depending on the patient’s needs.”
Radar Online made the overdose claim and said: “According to an insider, the teen was in the ER late Monday night…. But the source said as of that time, her TV star mother had not yet rushed to her side. Rosie’s rep told Radar she is ‘not commenting.'”
