Samantha Bee spun comedy gold out of what she called “pretty ridiculous” allegations that Donald Trump hired prostitutes to pee on a bed once used by President Obama at the Russian hotel he was staying at.
“It’s been barely 24 hours since the story broke and there are more Trump golden shower jokes on the internet than there are golden shower videos,” she said on “Full Frontal” Wednesday night.
Her YouTube video description said: “We’re not saying that Trump likes water sports, we’re just saying that people are saying that.”
A commenter replied: “Could this leak be Trump’s Watergate? I’m sure his opponents are flush with excitement.”
One comment harkened back to a simpler time:
“Hey, remember when Donald Trump and ilk made us suffer through years of birther controversy and accusations that Obama was a secret Muslim intent on subverting the country based literally on nothing but the fact that Obama is half black? Man, those were the good ol’ days.”
