Sylvester Stallone sued Warner Bros. Wednesday, alleging the studio hid profits from the film “Demolition Man” and now owes him his share.

The Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit was filed by the 70-year-old Stallone through his company, Rogue Marble Productions Inc. Alleging breach of contract, fraud and unfair business practices, the complaint seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages from Warner Bros Entertainment Inc.

A Warner Bros. representative could not be immediately reached for comment on the suit, which calls Stallone “one of the greatest American talents of the last and present century.”

“Demolition Man” was released in 1993 and also starred Wesley Snipes and Sandra Bullock. When Rogue Marble asked for an accounting, the studio balked and gave false information about its profits, the suit alleges.

“Here, WB decided it wasn’t going to account to Rogue Marble on the film,” the suit alleges. “Mr. Stallone is entitled to, among other things, a full accounting, an explanation of how this practice came to be, interest, damages and an end to this practice for all talent to expect to be paid by WB for the fruits of their labor.”

The profits Warner Bros. received from the film and the exact amount allegedly owed Stallone cannot be determined without an accounting of the studio’s books and records, according to the lawsuit.
