The wife of Oscar-winning actor Casey Affleck has filed for divorce.
Actress Summer Phoenix brought her petition in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Both Affleck and Phoenix are from star-studded families. She’s the youngest sibling of Rain, Joaquin, Liberty and the late River Phoenix. He’s the young brother of Ben Affleck.
The couple had announced their separation in March 2016, and the petition cites irreconcilable differences as the reason Phoenix wants to end the nine-year marriage.
Affleck, 41, and Phoenix, 38, have two sons, 13-year-old Indiana and 9- year-old Atticus.
Phoenix Monday requested joint physical and legal custody of their children and spousal support.
Affleck won a best actor Academy Award in February for “Manchester By the Sea.”
