Ellen DeGeneres gave a million, followed by Miley Cyrus with $500,000. Other stars opening their wallets include Beyoncé, Sandra Bullock, Kevin Hart, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown and Kacey Musgraves.
Victims of Hurricane Harvey won’t question the politics of the donors. They’ll be thankful for any help.

“I can’t really talk about it,” a tearful Cyrus said of the Texas tragedy. “I don’t know why it makes me so upset. It just really makes me really upset. I couldn’t fake it. My grandma’s sitting here, my mom’s here, and I go home to my seven dogs. If I didn’t have that anymore, it would just be really hard.”
Said Queen Bey: “My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers.”
Kevin Hart issued a $1 million challenge on social media for Red Cross’ Harvey relief, with the comedian initially contributing $25,000 before doubling that to $50,000.
“Hart called upon his famous friends like Nicki Minaj, DJ Khaled, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, T.I. and Justin Timberlake to also contribute, with many answering Hart’s call,” said Rolling Stone.
