The force behind TV smashes “American Idol,” “America’s Got Talent” and “The X Factor” has another major hit — to his head.
Simon Cowell had a “bit of a concussion” Friday after falling down a flight of stairs in his London home, says the New York Daily News.
He awoke in the middle of the night and “felt dizzy before attempting to head down stairs for a glass of hot milk and then fainted and tumbled down the flight, a source close to Cowell told the Daily News.”
An ambulance fetched Cowell, 58, wearing a neck brace between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., said reports cited by the Daily News.
“He underwent a CAT scan and does not appear to have a serious injury,” the tabloid said. “After spending a few hours in the hospital, Cowell was released and driven back to his London home where he gave the thumbs up before going inside.”
