Mark Hamill made nerd news by telling Wired.com that Jedi knights are celibate.
“I think so,” Luke Skywalker’s actor said. “Otherwise I’d have a girlfriend by now.”
Well, speak for yourself, Mr. Force-Be-With-You. Not all “Star Wars” knights refrain from whoopee.
Or else how did your Jedi dad — Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader — come to have you and twin sister Princess Leia?
Anakin “was blessed with the news of impending fatherhood when [Queen Amidala of Naboo] announced she was pregnant with his child,” notes a typical bio.
And that led to Skywalker Senior being driven to the dark side of the Force and being named Darth Vader by Sith Darth Sidious.
In any case, Hamill at 66 is happy about the “Last Jedi,” in wide release Thursday.
