A Texas lawyer who once bought a World War II tank for $600,000 and parked it in front of his Houston mansion may need it to defend his artwork.

Anthony “Tony” Buzbee, who represented former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, says a woman he was dating got drunk and went on a destruction spree at his home in the River Oaks section.

“Lindy Lou Layman ‘intentionally and knowingly’ damaged multiple pieces of artwork” by Andy Warhol on Dec. 23, said the New York Daily News.

KHOU reported: “She is accused of yelling obscenities while tearing down two original Andy Warhol paintings, estimated at $500,000 each, from the wall of the attorney’s home. She then allegedly threw two sculptures, valued at $20,000 each, according to charging documents.”

Quoting prosecutors, the TV station said it had been their first date.

“Layman, a Dallas resident and freelance court reporter, was granted $30,000 bond after being charged with criminal mischief,” said the Daily News.
