The CW will resume broadcasting on Sundays in October after a year’s interruption, the network announced.

The network will air programming from 8-10 p.m. Sundays, matching what it airs Mondays through Fridays.

“By expanding to six nights, The CW is now able to give our fans even more of the series they’re so passionate about,” CW President Mark Pedowitz said Wednesday.

The CW, formed in 2006 through the merger of the United Paramount Network and The WB Network, aired programming from 7-10 p.m. Sundays from the 2006-07 through 2008-09 seasons.
