The Producers Guild of America has announced its award nominees for sports, children’s and short-form programs, ahead of next month’s unveiling of nominations for its coveted motion picture honor.
Although the bulk of the PGA Awards will be presented March 24, winners in the sports, children’s and short-form categories will be unveiled during a virtual event titled “A Day with the PGA Awards Nominees” on March 20. The guild’s Innovation Award will also be presented during that event, which will feature panel discussions with nominated producers.
The new event will replace the traditional Nominees Breakfast, which is normally held the morning of the guild’s awards show.
