The sound mixing teams for “Oppenheimer,” “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” and the documentary “32 Sounds” were the top winners among feature films during the 60th annual Cinema Audio Society Awards.
Top non-theatrical winners included “The Last of Us,” “The Bear,” “100 Foot Wave” and “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.”
In addition to the seven theatrical and non-theatrical awards, the organization also present two honorary awards.
Multi-hyphenate film and television icon J.J. Abrams received the CAS Filmmaker Award and sound mixer Joe Earle was honored with the CAS Career Achievement Award.
USC student Yushu “Doris” Shen won the Student Recognition Award and a check for $5,000.
