Southern California PBS channel KCET dominated the 76th Los Angeles-area Emmy Awards, winning 10, including several for shows focusing on the local art scene.

Veteran journalist Sam Rubin, who died May 10th, was honored with a posthumous Governors Award, recognizing his legacy of more than three decades of entertainment news reporting for KTLA5. Rubin also won an award for Best Entertainment News Story for his coverage of the 118-day SAG-AFTRA Strike in 2023.
