Paul McCartney announced Tuesday that he will take the stage at the Fonda Theatre in Hollywood for two nights later this month, which will mark his first live performances since wrapping a 2025 tour that did not include any Los Angeles shows.
Fans who previously signed up for McCartney performance news received text alerts shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday alerting them to the March 27-28 dates, dubbed “Paul McCartney Rocks the Fonda!” and instructing them to register by 10 p.m. Wednesday on the Fair AXS platform for an opportunity to buy tickets.
“Fair AXS gives every fan an equal shot at tickets at the artist’s set price — reducing bots and making the process fair from the start,” the alert read.
There is a two-ticket limit, and the tickets will be non-transferable. After registration closes, selected fans will be sent an invitation email, and everyone who registered will be notified by email between March 24 and March 25 about their status.
An invitation email doesn’t guarantee tickets, which will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis within the purchase window to those who receive a one-time-use purchase link tied to their AXS account.
The ticket prices were not listed.
McCartney skipped Los Angeles on his “Got Back” tour last fall, which made stops in U.S. and Canadian cities where he had not performed in some time or never, including his first-ever date in Albuquerque. The 83-year-old former Beatle took the stage at the Santa Barbara Bowl a few days before kicking off that tour with a Sept. 29 show at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert.
