A burglary suspect was taken into custody Friday during an attempted home invasion in the Hollywood Hills, believed to have occurred at the home of actor Dylan Sprouse, who was reported to have physically detained the intruder until police arrived.
Officers responded at about 12:35 a.m. Friday to the 2400 block of Holly Drive regarding reports of a possible burglary, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said the suspect was taken into custody, but no other details were released.
TMZ, citing law enforcement sources, reported that the 33-year-old Sprouse — best known for his role as Zack Martin on Disney’s “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” — confronted the suspect, briefly held the person at gunpoint then physically restrained him until police arrived.
The suspect’s name was not released. No injuries were reported.
