Cedars-Sinai surgeons completed 120 heart transplants and two adult heart-lung transplants in 2014, setting a new national standard for the most adult heart transplants performed in a single year, it was announced today.
The figures were compiled by the United Network for Organ Sharing, the nonprofit organization that manages the U.S transplant system and collects data on every transplant in the nation, according to a Cedars-Sinai statement.
