Streep will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film, Mendes will receive the John Schlesinger Britannia Award for Excellence in Directing and Corden will receive the Britannia Award for British Artist of the Year.

“BAFTA Los Angeles is proud to honor Meryl Streep’s chameleonic genius, Sam Mendes’ creative force and James Corden’s entertaining ingenuity at this year’s Britannia Awards, which is certain to be a spectacular celebration of unique British irreverence, sincerity and cool,” BAFTA’s awards co-chairs Deborah Kolar and Adam Bialow said in a joint statement.

The 2015 British Academy Britannia Awards will be presented Oct. 30 at the Beverly Hilton.

The Kubrick award is presented to a person who “has lifted  the craft to new heights,” while the Schlesinger award honors the legacy of a British director “who made an unprecedented contribution to one of the great periods in American cinema.”

The British Artist of the Year award honors a person “who represents the best of British talent.”
