
Firefighters extinguished a fire in a two-story auto body shop in the Westlake area of Los Angeles Tuesday morning in just 17 minutes.
Crews responded at 4:01 a.m. to the 200 block of North Glendale Boulevard and located fire coming from the second floor of the shop, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 36 firefighters were able to contain the fire to just the contents on the second floor and a knockdown was declared at 4:18 a.m., she said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
