An early morning fire damaged a North Hills home, but no injuries were reported, fire officials said Sunday.
The fire on the 8300 block of North Sausalito was reported at 12:53 a.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
When firefighters arrived, they located the fire at the back of the home with visible smoke and flames spreading to the patio, she said.
It took nearly 40 fighters 20 minutes to extinguish the fire.
The cause and amount of damage is under investigation.
