Fire damaged a structure behind a home in Watts Tuesday evening, but no injuries were reported.
Firefighters were called to the 1600 block of East 92nd Street, near Compton Avenue, about 10 p.m. and found “heavy fire showing from a structure to the rear” of a single family home, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 26 LAFD firefighters, with the help of Los Angeles County Fire Department firefighters, battled the fire and knock down was declared at 10:17 p.m, Prange said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
