Six people were taken into custody after a brawl broke out at a bar in the North Hollywood Arts District, which may have triggered a car crash in a nearby alley, where the vehicle overturned, authorities said Saturday.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 11:43 p.m. Friday to the 5100 block of Lankershim Boulevard, where a caller reported that a vehicle had rolled over in a nearby alley, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Paramedics transported at least one person who was injured or ill from the incident, Humphrey said.

The fight broke out at the Brews Brothers bar, 5140 Lankershim Blvd., CBS2 reported, and spilled over into an alley adjacent to the bar, where one of the men involved in the fight may have tried to run down the others with his car.

Six people were taken into custody, CBS reported.

A watch commander from the LAPD’s North Hollywood station could not be reached for immediate comment.
