Firefighters extinguished a house fire in South Los Angeles within 12 minutes Thursday evening and no injuries were reported.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the single-family house in the 800 block of East 119th Street near Avalon Boulevard at 8:19 p.m., according to Nicholas Prange of the LAFD.
Twenty-six firefighters engaged the fire in two rooms of the home and it did not spread throughout the house, Prange said.
The fire was extinguished at 8:31 p.m., according to Prange.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
