Thirty-one firefighters extinguished a fire in a South Los Angeles home this evening in 10 minutes, and no injuries were reported.

Fire crews arrived at the one-story, single-family home in the 1400 block of West 70th Street, near Normandie Avenue, in the Harvard Park area of South Los Angeles at 8:36 p.m., according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The fire was extinguished by 8:46 p.m., and it did not spread past the home’s contents, Stewart said.

There were no injuries, and all occupants of the home escaped the fire by the time firefighters arrived, according to Stewart.
