A cement truck overturned Thursday morning on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway transition to the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, blocking all lanes of the transition road for nearly eight hours.
The crash was reported about 12:15 a.m. and the truck’s driver said the big rig was leaking fuel, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Crews worked to clear the scene, and the transition road was reopened about 8 a.m., according to the CHP.
