One person was sent to a trauma center following a five-vehicle pileup in El Monte Sunday, according to Martin Rangel, a dispatcher with the L.A. County Fire Department.
The crash occurred at 2:15 a.m. along the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway at Peck Road, according to Patrick Kimball, of the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Management Center.
At 2:40 a.m., the CHP issued a two-lane SigAlert that was canceled about an hour later.
