A fire damaged a vacant house in the east Hollywood area Wednesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 300 block of North Berendo Street at 5:10 a.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 26 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
