All northbound and southbound lanes of the San Diego (405) Freeway in Gardena are closed until further notice Thursday morning due to a traffic crash that damaged a power pole.
The crash was reported near Normandie Avenue about 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The power pole and a power line were damaged in the accident and the freeway was closed in both directions at Normandie Avenue to allow repair crews to fix the damage, the CHP said.
Traffic is being taken off the freeway at Normandie Avenue.
