A fire scorched about two acres of brush Tuesday in the Santa Clarita area, but no structures were damaged and no one was hurt.
The fire was reported about 10:30 a.m. near the 28400 block of San Francisquito Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters stopped the forward progress of the flames within about a half- hour, and aircraft that were sent to the scene were canceled. Some firefighters remained on scene dousing hot spots.
