A dump truck overturned on the eastbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Los Angeles Thursday morning, prompting a stretch of the freeway to be closed for more than three hours.
The crash was reported at the Overland Avenue onramp about 4 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The freeway lanes were reopened about 7:15 a.m., the CHP reported.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
