Two drivers died Saturday when their vehicles collided on an on-ramp of the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway in Gardena.
The crash was reported about 4:20 a.m. on the 182nd Street on-ramp of the northbound 110.
A female motorist was at the wheel of a 2017 Ford Fusion and a male was driving a 2012 Mazda 3, according to California Highway Patrol Sgt. J. Sanchez.
“For an unknown reason, both vehicles collided into each other, causing major damage to both vehicles and fatal injuries to both parties,” Sanchez said.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remained under investigation, the officer said.
