A multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig Monday prompted closure of the southbound Golden State (5) Freeway near Castaic for about four hours.

The crash was reported at 6:20 a.m. near Templin Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol. No injuries were reported.

All southbound lanes were closed until about 10:30 a.m., when three lanes reopened. The No. 4 lane remained closed while crews worked to clear the scene.
