A fire damaged a Lancaster home Saturday evening and caused one occupant to suffer smoke inhalation.
The fire was reported about 9:50 p.m. at 1247 Herzel St., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Flames were showing from the second floor of the two-story house when firefighters arrived, officials said.
Firefighters put out the flames within 16 minutes and paramedics assessed the patient, officials said.
